US International Classic 2019 – Preview

The third of the ten Challenger Series events is US International Classic and takes place in Salt Lake City, Utah from the 17th-22nd September.

KEVIN AYMOZ on his programs, his relationship with skating, and the struggles of leaving home for the pursuit of a dream

There is no denying that Kevin answers interview questions the way he skates: honest, full of emotions, and with his heart out in the open. When he started to take his first steps on the ice, nobody expected him to capture the hearts of skating fans around the world with his expressive and extraordinary skates.

We talked to him shortly after his win at Masters de Patinage and stunning season debut at Autumn Classic International about the inspiration for his programs and his unique moves on the ice. His joy for life and his deep love for his family and friends reflect in every answer, whether we asked him about his move to Florida or made him describe his perfect day.

EMILY ROSE BROWN & JAMES HERNANDEZ on their junior career and life off ice

Emily Rose Brown & James Hernandez are Junior Ice Dancers representing Great Britain, and have been partners for five years.

Their international placements this season have included some of their best results yet, including a 4th place finish at Golden Spin of Zagreb just a week after being crowned Junior National Champions for the first time. The latter event was held in Sheffield, England and that is where we met them, and coaches Penny Coomes and Nick Buckland, who now train in Philadelphia, USA.

We caught up with the duo just after Nationals to talk about their junior career and life away from the ice.
