Elli first started watching skating in the 1990s, because her mom was and still is an OG fangirl, and she didn’t have free will or a second TV. She wears many hats for AnythingGOEs including website manager, editor-in-chief, social media expert, writer, and crisis manager. When not helping the team with an IT or PR issue, Elli can be found studying women’s history and working as a student assistant.

Lois began watching skating during the Winter Olympics in 2018, immediately falling in love with ice dance after seeing Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir and their iconic Moulin Rouge program. A lover of data, she writes competition previews, keeps track of skater stats, and always tries to be first on the news on our social media. In addition to skating, Lois is also a big fan of F1 and ice hockey (Let’s Go Devils!)

After becoming fascinated by ice dance at the 2018 Olympics, Sarah began following the sport the next season. She loves to interview skaters and share their stories. When not thinking about skating, Sarah can be found working, baking, or brainstorming ideas but never actually working on them.

Anna does interviews, investigative pieces, and mixed zone coverage for AnythingGOEs. They have a particular love for the pairs discipline and for investigating the “whys” behind skating’s rules and systems, and are also the host of the Future of Figure Skating podcast. Anna is an adult skater and aspiring pairs competitor in an open-gender partnership. Anna also collaborates on educational content, such as the “step of the month” project for the Skating School of Switzerland. Note: Anna’s reporting reflects their own research and opinions and does not represent the Skating School or its coaches and athletes. Away from the ice, Anna works for a non-profit focused on improving elections and democracy in the US.”

Naomi is a photographer for Anything GOEs. She discovered her love for photography in high school and decided to combine it with her passion for figure skating. She also takes photos for the Columbia Figure Skating Team and competes in collegiate skating as a team member. Away from the ice, she’s focused on her studies as a college student majoring in Mathematical Sciences.

Sophia fell in love with skating at 10 years old when she watched Yuna Kim’s free program at the Sochi Olympics. A lover of all sports, Sophia is currently studying journalism with an emphasis on sports writing at the University of Texas, where she also is a sports reporter for The Daily Texan. Sophia is beyond excited to begin covering competitions and writing for Anything GOEs!
